News and fodder behind the films of Joseph Nanni.

Guillermo Del Toro To Pass Judgement On Black Goat

As is if making insider films in a sub, sub genre of horror and science fiction, loosely based on the writings of a relatively unknown misanthropic pulp writer from the 20’s/30’s wasn’t hard enough, now we find out that a giant of the horror genre, and arguably one of the best filmmakers of the 21st century, will be judging said films.  Guillermo Del Toro will be judging the short films at this years’ HP Lovecraft Film Festival in Los Angeles, Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17, at the Warner Grand in San Pedro.  This will also be the world festival premiere of Black Goat, so you may want to see it here before all the nerds start asking, “why does a coureur de bois have a viking axe?”*

*  We’ll be happy to explain why when some gives us a bucket of money to make the feature.
