Bad Advice for Good Times is the official source of nonsense concerning the antics and general goings-on of the film production company Bad Advice for Good Times and writer/director Joseph Nanni. BA4GT is currently based in Toronto and will be setting up a production office and studio, called The Marshall Farm, in the Grey Bruce region of Ontario. The area features multiple locations for three of our feature productions which will shoot over the next three years. To date, the team has produced three Lovecraft-inspired shorts which have screened at film festivals around the world and have been nominated for numerous awards.
hey Joeseph…. love your shorts and Cthulhu bits! So glad to hear you’re from Toronto as well… keep em coming!

Hey Joseph,
Interested in interviewing you about Lovecraft stuff for Innsmouth Free Press. Can you shoot me an e-mail?
Hey, I live in simcoe county, just next door. If you ever need a huge guy to play a horrible nethercreature or ravenous zombie you have my email.
Dear Joseph Nanni
How can I get in touch with a query re. screening of Elder Sign at a film festival? It’s all very last minute I’m afraid, as the festival in question is already underway: The Edinburgh International Film Festival. I am a guest curator at Inspace Gallery, Edinburgh, where we are screening the HP Lovecraft Historical Society feature ‘The Call of Cthulhu’ as part of official fringe programming, and I am pulling together a shorts list along the theme of Madness and Monsters to accompany this. The event is this coming Thursday, 24th June. Would this be something you might consider granting permission for?

Joseph,
I saw your video on youtube and loved it! Let me know if you ever need a composer, I’m a huge fan of working on horror, and especially the horror/comedy genre. Regardless, I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with next!

Hi,
Just wanted to drop you a note and invite you to check out my new H.P. Lovecraft site at:
http://www.thelovecraftsman.com
It covers anything and anything related to Lovecraft, from serious criticism of his work to fun stuff like Shoggoth Cookies and 6 Ways To Turn Cthulhu into an Emoticon. If you have anything Lovecraftian you think would make an interesting post, please feel free to drop me a message about it.
I’ve also created a Lovecraft community forum to encourage people to talk about not only HPL but also their own Lovecraft projects.

Hope you’ll stop by!
Best,
